Ocean Plan Unveils ‘Dive Navigation System, Underwater Navigation System Map Series and Underwater Acoustic Modules'

    On October 28, the China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) grandly opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an).

    With the theme "Intelligent Ocean, Shared Future," this year's expo brought together over 200 leading global enterprises and research institutions in the field of marine science and technology. The event showcased cutting-edge innovations across multiple frontier sectors, including marine intelligent equipment, marine electronics and information technology, deep-sea technology, coastal tourism, modern services, and marine energy.

    During the event, Ocean Plan was honored with the "2025 Ocean Star – Ecological Co-construction Award" for its outstanding performance in promoting industrial chain collaboration and advancing green development. This award recognizes companies that foster upstream and downstream cooperation within the marine industry, advocating openness, shared success, and sustainable growth of the marine economy.

    As an innovative enterprise deeply engaged in the field of marine technology, Ocean Plan made a powerful appearance at this year's expo, debuting its newly developed "Underwater Communication and Navigation System." With leading technological capabilities and integrated application solutions, the company showcased the innovative power driving China's marine technology advancement.

     

    Ocean Plan's exhibition area was elegantly organized into four themed sections, each tailored to specific ocean application scenarios:

    Public Safety Zone

     

    Targeting sectors such as the military, emergency rescue, and special police, this zone presented highly integrated and collaborative task solutions designed to ensure efficient coordination and safety in complex environments.

    Scientific Research Zone

     

    Serving underwater scientific research, technical diving, and engineering diving, this zone balanced performance and practicality, injecting intelligent capabilities into underwater exploration and operations.

    Civil Recreation Zone

     

    Designed for diving enthusiasts and civilian diving scenarios, the newly launched consumer-grade products feature lightweight design and easy operation, making diving safer and more accessible.

    Modular Application Zone

     

    This section focused on underwater robots and operational platforms, providing communication and positioning modules to support deep-sea operations, coordinated control, and data transmission, empowering the future of the intelligent marine ecosystem.

    The Underwater Communication and Navigation System has undergone a comprehensive upgrade, featuring a versatile combination of technologies adapted to diverse application scenarios. The exhibition highlights focused on three major aspects:

     

    Comprehensive System Upgrade – Enhanced core performance and user experience to meet higher underwater mission standards.

     

    Launch of Three New Products – First public appearance of the Civilian Edition, Underwater Map Navigation Module, and Underwater Robot Communication & Positioning Module.

    World-leading Innovative Technologies – Equipped with several internationally pioneering technologies, the system leads the industry in both integration and technological advancement.

     

    Underwater Communication and Navigation System – Civilian Edition

    Dive Navigation System

     

    Specifically designed for diving enthusiasts and general users, this system combines a surface-level app with a diver micro-terminal to achieve seamless underwater-surface connectivity.

    Surface operators can connect the surface control unit to a smartphone or tablet equipped with the Ocean Plan App via Bluetooth, enabling real-time monitoring and management of divers' movement and location. Divers, in turn, use the M30 Dive Navigation Computer or DiverTrack to maintain efficient, two-way communication with the surface control station.

     

    Underwater Communication and Navigation System – Map Series

     

    Independently developed by  Ocean Plan , the Map Series is designed to meet the needs of high-precision underwater positioning and navigation tasks.

    The system consists of a Diver Navigation Terminal and a Surface Communication and Positioning Buoy, equipped with a technical expansion chamber supporting functions such as underwater route planning, trajectory recording, multi-mode map management, dive logging and export, and yaw deviation alerts. These features enhance diver safety and improve underwater collaboration efficiency across diverse mission scenarios.

     

    Acoustic Communication and Positioning Module

     

    This module integrates high-speed underwater acoustic communication with high-precision acoustic positioning technologies, providing comprehensive wireless data transmission and situational awareness solutions for various applications, including ROVs/AUVs, underwater work platforms, and diver support systems.

    World-leading Original Technologies

     

    Through globally pioneering "Diver Physiological Monitoring" and "Tank Pressure Monitoring" technologies, Ocean Plan enables real-time monitoring of divers' vital signs and remaining gas levels. By continuously collecting and transmitting key data—such as heart rate, blood oxygen level, and cylinder pressure—surface operators can gain a comprehensive understanding of underwater conditions, providing an extra layer of safety assurance for divers.
