On the afternoon of November 27, international fire and rescue representatives from South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Brunei, the Maldives, Macao, Hong Kong, and other regions gathered in Chaozhou to participate in the 'Water Rescue Equipment Exchange Seminar.' The event aimed to promote mutual learning and cooperation in rescue technologies across the region. The 'Diver Communication and Positioning System' presented by Ocean Plan attracted great attention from rescue representatives from various countries.

The 'Diver Communication and Positioning System' developed by Ocean Plan has been included in the equipment guidance catalog of China’s Ministry of Emergency Management, providing strong technical support and product assurance for enhancing water rescue capabilities in various regions. The system is composed of equipment including 'dive navigation computer, diver physiological monitoring system, diver voice unit, and surface integrated control center,' together forming a comprehensive rescue system that covers both 'surface command and underwater coordination.'

During this seminar, Ocean Plan highlighted the core functions of the system to the international fire and rescue teams:

    Underwater Wireless Communication and Interaction

Real-time communication between divers, as well as between divers and surface personnel.

    Underwater Wireless Positioning and Navigation

Provides divers with accurate location information, target guidance, and position marking.

    Diver Physiological Monitoring

Real-time collection of divers' physiological data, synchronized to surface command personnel.

    Safety Assurance for Diving Operations

Ensures safety through 'full-domain monitoring and proactive anomaly warnings'.

These capabilities are suitable for front-line underwater missions in firefighting, emergency response, and rescue diving units, including water rescue, underwater search and recovery, diver training, and underwater operations. They significantly enhance 'surface–underwater coordinated command and support capabilities.'
